When it comes to work skills they can be broken down into two types hard skills and soft skills. They are quite different from one another but both are necessary to be successful on the job. Also employers look for this two kinds of skills.A combination of hard skills and soft skills forms a well-rounded job applicant.
Hard skills are teachable skills and soft skills are non-measurable skills.Generally, you can learn hard skills in the school, through books or courses, or on the job.Soft skills are nominative skills that are much harder to measure.Hard skills show you’re amazing for a certain job because no one is born with them.Hard skills examples are analytics, maths, marketing, computer science, machine learning, a degree, typing speed, certificate, etc. Soft skills are part of your personality, but you must still learn them.Soft skills examples are communication, leadership, teamwork, time management, patience, motivation, work ethic, etc.Because they both are important, you should emphasize both your hard skills and soft skills during the job application. Thus, you will be find the valuable job position.
My personal view is that it is important to have hybrid skills. To make it clear we can say a person needs both hard skills and soft skills. For instance you need to use a computer program but firstly you need patience in other words it is easier for a person to train a person in a hard skill than to train a person in a soft skill.
After all is said and done, both are essential to success in school, your job, and life. Also don’t forget to share your skills during interviews. To highlight your skills and be a potential person.
